Are you eating “food”?
Looks like it, smells like it, and tastes like it, but it is actually “fake food” made from a whole bunch of chemical ingredients.
Tsukasa Abe from Japan was a top salesman for a food additives company. He helped the food processing factories to use the “cheapest” ingredients to produce the “popular” food products.
One day, he was horrified to see his daughter eating the fake meatballs he produced, then he realized: His family are also the consumers of the fake foods he produced, and he felt remorse deeply.
He quitted his food addictives job, using his experience over the years, telling the public about the truths behind the processed foods……
1)  Fake Meat Ball
He turned the slimy, tasteless, cheap “meat scraps” into edible stuff.
To produce the soft texture, soy protein is added
To produce smooth & tender texture, lard & processed starch are added
To produce good taste, tons of chemical flavorings are added
To produce good colour, colourant is added
To prevent & treat the colour fading, anti-oxidant is added
To allow mass production by machine, adhesive & emulsifier are added
To extend the preservation period, preservatives & pH adjusting agent are added
--- During the whole process, 20-30 types of food additives are added, the meat ball can be called as “food additives in meat ball shape”.
2)  Fake Lemon Juice
Yellow #4 ( made from petroleum ) is added to the carbonated water to produce the beautiful lemon colour.
Synthetic lemon flavouring is added.
Sour agent & High-fructose corn syrup are added ( real sugar is not used because it is more expensive ), to produce the sour & sweet taste.
Synthetic vitamin C is added ( then can claim that it contains vitamin C from 50 lemons )
Fibre powder ( made from “saw dust” ) is added.
Note:  The so called “natural” orange colouring is actually the bugs extract, and the “natural” green colouring is actually the excrement of silkworms.

Food additives: They don’t exist in the natural foods, they are added for certain purposes; Oftentimes they are even used as substitution for the real food ingredients.

For soymilk & tofu, in order to prevent the foam from spilling out during cooking, Antifoaming agent is added; in order to prevent spoiling, Preservatives & Bactericides are added……
In order for the hotdog, ham & roast duck to stay in the room temperature and look bright red, Colour fasting agent & Nitrites  are added……
Food additives can bring serious harms
Artificial colouring agent ( such as Yellow #4 ,5 & 6; Red #2, 3, 40 ):  Can cause cancer, tumor, urticaria, asthma, allergic, learning & concentration disorder……
Sulfite: A bleaching agent, can cause urticaria, asthma, diarrhea, vomiting......
Borax:  Make food elastic, can cause vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, skin erythema, atrophy of the kidney......
Formaldehyde:  A preservative, can cause cancer, headache, dizziness, vomiting, dyspnea, Inhibition of digestive function, damaged eyes, urticaria, asthma, diarrhea......
Butylated Hydroxy Anisole (BHA):  An antioxidant, can cause cancer……

You deserve to eat safe and healthy “real food”.

Sweet Killer:  Aspartame

Aspartame is a common artificial sweetener, used in Diet Coke/Pepsi & many processed foods, it is related to:  cancer, brain tumour, dizziness, headache, loss of memory, blindness, neurotoxin, epilepsy, weight gain, irregular menses, damage the babies’ metabolism......
Cheap Foods are not Cheap
Because artificial food can be mass produced by using cheap chemical ingredients, the price could be cheaper at the first glance, but actually it has caused the increase in health care expenses.
In the 1960’s, the average American spent 18% of their incomes on foods, and only used 5% of the national incomes on medical care; now they only spend 9.9% of their incomes on foods, but the medical care expenses has gone up to 16%!
How to avoid Food Additives
I can give you a list of food additives for you to check against the food labels at the supermarkets, but this will probably ended in two results:
1)  You might be having headache to go through the names.
2)  Additives are everywhere, you will find that there are really not many food products out there that are safe to purchase.
Don’t be so quick to purchase food with label indicating terms such as “no preservatives”, ”no colourings”, because this may not necessarily mean that food does not contain 10 over other food additives.
Food manufacturers may not be honestly listing out all ingredients, many bad ingredients are anonymous & hidden.
--- Therefore, the simplest and safest way, is switching your diet to organic foods.

Comparing with the “non-organic” conventional foods that use 800 over types of chemical ingredients, Organic food standards permit only a limited list of around 40 mostly natural additives, which are allowed in organic foods only if they don't compromise the authenticity of the product, and the product can't be produced or preserved without them.
There are many non-profit organic food organizations that really care about consumers’ safety overseeing the ingredients used in organic foods.
Try to buy raw food that requires less processing.

你吃的是“食物”吗?
看起来像、闻起来像、嘗起来也像,但其实却是一堆化学成份调出来的“假食物”!
日本的安部司先生,原本是食品添加剂公司的首席推销员,帮食品加工厂用“最低”的成本做出“好卖”的食品。
有一次,他亲眼见到女儿也在吃他所开发的“假肉丸子”,才意识到:家人也是自己开发的假食品的消费者,因而陷入深深的自责。
他辞去了食品添加剂的工作,用他几十年的经验,告诉民众关于加工食品的真相……
1)假肉丸子
将黏糊糊、没有味道、不能吃的便宜“废肉”变成能吃的东西:
为了做出柔软感觉,加入大豆蛋白
为了使口感嫩滑,加入猪油、加工淀粉
为了制造好味,加入大量化学调味料
为了使颜色好看,加入着色剂
为了防治褪色,使用了抗氧化剂
为了便于机器批量生产,加入黏着剂、乳化剂
为了延长保质期,加入防腐剂、 pH 调整剂
--- 整个过程使用了20-30 种添加剂,可以说:这是“丸子状的添加剂”。
2)假柠檬果汁
碳酸水加入黄色 4 石油做的 ,就变成很漂亮的柠檬色
加入合成柠檬香料
加入酸味剂、果葡糖浆 不用砂糖,因为砂糖贵 ,就有了酸甜味
加入合成维他命 C 就可宣称含50粒柠檬的维他命 C
加入纤维素粉末 锯屑做的
注:所谓“天然”的橙色,其实是虫子的萃取物,而“天然”的绿色,则是蚕宝宝的粪便。

大约 800 食品添加剂,隐藏在市面上色香味俱全的加工食品里。
食品添加剂是:天然食物中原本不存在,为了某种目的特地加进去的;很多时候甚至喧宾夺主,用来取代真正的食物原料。
17 大类食品添加剂(约 800 种):
1. 防腐剂    2.杀菌剂    3.抗氧化剂    4.漂白剂    5.保色剂    6.膨胀剂    7.品质改良用、酿造用及食品製造用剂    8.营养添加剂    9.着色剂    10.香料    11.调味剂    12.粘稠剂    13.结着剂    14.食品工业用化学药品    15.溶剂    16.乳化剂    17.其他
米粉要白又要便宜,就用玉米淀粉加漂白剂,再加粘稠剂制造粘性。
面包、包子、饼干要松软和好吃,就加乳化剂品质改良剂膨松剂香料
豆浆和豆腐,会加消泡剂,防止煮浆时泡沫溢出;为了不变坏,就加防腐剂杀菌剂
为了让香肠、火腿、板鸭能在室温下存放、并呈现鲜红色泽,就加保色剂亚硝酸盐
食品添加剂的危害非同小可
人工合成色素(例如黄色 456 号,红色 2340 号):会致癌、肿瘤、荨麻疹、气喘、过敏、学习和集中力失常。
亚硫酸盐:一种漂白剂,会导致荨麻疹、气喘、腹泻、呕吐。
硼砂:使食品有弹性,会导致呕吐、腹泻、虚脱、皮肤红斑、肾脏萎缩。
Formaldehyde:一种防腐剂,会致癌、头痛、眩晕、呼吸困难、呕吐、消化作用阻害、眼睛受损、荨麻疹、气喘、腹泻。
Butylated Hydroxy Anisole (BHA): 一种抗氧化剂,会致癌。

甜蜜杀手阿斯巴甜

阿斯巴甜(Aspartame)是一种普遍的代糖,用在 Diet Coke/Pepsi 和许多加工食品,和癌症、脑肿瘤、眩晕、头痛、失忆、失明、毒害神经、癫痫、变胖、月经不顺、损害婴孩代谢作用……有关联。
不便宜的廉价食品
“假食物”因为可以用廉价化学成份来大量制造,表面上看起来比较便宜,但实际上却会使医疗费用增加
60 年代,美国人平均将薪金的 18% 用在食物消费,只用了全国总薪金的 5% 在医疗费用;现在他们只将薪金的 9.9% 花在食物,但医疗费用却增加到 16%
如何避免食品添加剂
我可以提供你一大堆食物添加剂的名字,让你去超市购物时用来检查食物包装上的成份,可是很可能只有这两种结果:
1)你会 看得头昏眼花。
2)到处都有食品添加剂,你会发现真的没有几样食品是安全的。
不要只是看到标签上有“无防腐剂”“无色素”这类字眼就很放心的买下来,因为这并不代表该食品就没有其他十多种食品添加剂。
食品制造商未必会诚实的列出所有成份,很多不好的成份是匿名隐形的。
--- 所以,最简单、最安全的方法,就是改吃有机食物
